The Big Issues Companies Are Facing and How Public Relations Pros Must Help

During a retreat with my mastermind group last year, we discussed the big employee issues companies would face in 2024: retention, hiring, managing hybrid work environments, and more.

It was clear to me that communicators can and must play a pivotal role in helping organizations address these challenges.

One way we can add strategic value is by meeting regularly with various work groups, asking questions to understand successes and challenges from their POV, and then using these insights to advise senior leaders.

Unfortunately, so many experienced communications pros I talk to about taking on a more strategic role are consistently hesitant to do so.

Senior leaders need a trusted advisor. They will respect and value your expertise when you offer thoughtful insight backed by research, cross-departmental interactions, and a deep understanding of the complex issues impacting the organization.

This, my friend, is all so much easier to do with a powerful framework.

The corporate messaging framework I’ve used for more than a decade is highly effective because employees from different departments are required to be a part of the process. Involving them always creates more meaningful and aligned messaging.

And when they’re engaged in this way, employees feel seen and heard, which means they are much more likely to stay.

I’ve seen the positive results of this framework both with my own clients and with the communications pros I’ve trained and mentored in my 5-month program, Corporate Messaging for Communicators

I also know that the five-month commitment is a big one.

So, I’ve gone back “into the lab” and developed Corporate Messaging for Communicators: The Intensivea 2-day highly interactive, hands-on, in-person experience.

Here’s what the Intensive includes:

  • Training on my signature six-phase corporate messaging framework
  • Thought-provoking, immersive activities on research, core values, and target audiences
  • Role-play experiences to help you tame your inner critic and manage difficult conversations
  • Facilitation practice so you can experience leading a part of a messaging workshop in an open, supportive space
  • Learning, connection and growth with industry peers

This is what you’ll walk away with:

  • A proven messaging frameworkyou can integrate into your work the day you leave (and for the rest of your career!)
  • Access to a rich body of “done-for-you” templates to adapt and use as you like
  • Tools to conquer the ever-present doubt about the value you bring that I still see in far too many communications pros
  • Greater comfort speaking up about the issues and ideas important to you and the companies you serve
  • Deeper connection with industry peers

Here’s what else you need to know:

  • 💸 The investment is $1997 if you sign up by March 15 (a $500 savings for early sign-up and less than half the price of the five-month program!)
  • 🕒 We’ll meet April 9 and 10 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET
  • 📍 This will be an in-person experience (at an awesome South Florida spot!)
